Black Hart Press is looking for horror stories to feature in an anthology, alongside award winners like Keith Grey (Smarties Prize. Angus Book Prize), Anita Sullivan (BBC Radio Drama. Writers’ Guild. Race in the Media), Geneve Flynn (Bram Stoker Award. Shirley Jackson Award) and Jan-Andrew Henderson (Royal Mail Award. Doncaster Book Prize).
Any length under 7,000 words is acceptable. Reprints allowed if the story is really good.

Entries can be funny, gory, sinister, gothic, ghostly, chilling or febrile. (Don’t know what that last one means but it sounds nasty). No rape, torture porn, obviously offensive material or sheep. We’re deathly afraid of sheep.
Edited by Jan-Andrew Henderson.
Deadline 31st March 2022. Submissions now open. Limited spaces.
Email submissions to blackhartpublishers [@] gmail.com as a word attachment, along with a brief cover letter in the body of the email.
